DEMAND TRUMP'S CONVICTION AND REMOVAL

Use this tool to increase public pressure on the Senate to do the right thing and have a real trial. It makes a difference; some of the GOP senators are starting to waver. And, it will really unnerve Trump if New York papers chime in.

MEET THE CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATES

Our current representative, Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, has a number of challengers this year (we met one already at one of our own meetings). Join several democratic clubs to ask her, and her challengers, questions about climate change, impeachment, election security, and other critical issues. AUTOMATIC VOTER REGISTRATION
The NY State Senate has passed automatic voter registration, but the Assembly is dragging its collective feet. So, Indivisible Harlem and Empire State Indivisible have put together a call relay to pressure those assembly members to act.

Call 855-973-4252 (there will be a prompt for your location, and it will then connect you to the right office). You can use this script below as a guide:
 

Hi, my name is  [your name]  and I am a constituent of Assemblymember [your rep's name]  from [NYC neighborhood]. I am asking Assemblymember [your rep's name]  to demand a vote on automatic voter registration as soon as possible. This bill will create 1 million new voters and expand voting rights in New York State during a pivotal time for our democracy. Can I count on Assemblymember [your rep's name]  to prioritize passage of this bill?
