Our Mission

Indivisible Upper East Side is part of a national organization committed to fighting climate change, protecting voting rights, and ensuring that women have the right to control their own bodies.

We are committed to defend our country against MAGA’s extreme agenda and move toward progress.

OUR GOALS

We will continue to lobby Congress and the NY legislature to expand voting rights, register new voters, and increase voter turnout. We will attend marches and rallies aimed at making sure our voices are heard.

We will prepare for the 2026 midterm elections and special elections by coordinating with out-of-state organizations in swing states, offering donations and logistical help. We will also join in canvassing efforts to directly communicate with voters and those who aren’t yet registered to vote. 

We will fight to protect New York’s air and water, and urge our local reps to make sure that New York City and New York state follow through on their climate change promises.

We will also work to change New York’s tax structure to be more equitable.

We will protect a woman’s right to make her own decisions about her body and her reproductive care.

We will combat the influx of dark money into politics by supporting campaign finance reform efforts.
