ELECTION ACTION WEEKS LETTER WRITING KICKOFF!
5:30 PM
Zoom (scroll down for details)
We are laser focused on defeating Trump and flipping the Senate. Indivisible wants to reach 20 million voters.
Our share is 4,000 people. The only way to do that is for each of you to sign up for letter writing, texting, and calling events between now and November 3. We’ll do these on Zoom so it’s more festive.
There may be cocktails. So far, the steering committee favorite is the watermelon slushie (watermelon, ice, lime, seltzer, and vodka or rum).

COUNT ALL THE VOTES
The New York State Legislature had the chance in May to ensure safe and fair elections, but chose not to — and now tens of thousands of votes are being thrown out; disproportionately from Black and Brown communities hit hardest by the pandemic. The Legislature is meeting on Monday — CALL NOW and tell them to act swiftly and pass the entire LetNYVoteSafely slate of laws to ensure that all votes will be counted in the November election:

ELECTION ACTION WEEKS PHONE BANK TRAINING
Monday, July 20 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT
Monday, July 27 at 7pm ET/ 4pm PT
ELECTION ACTION WEEKS TEXT BANK TRAINING
Wednesday, July 22 at 7pm ET/ 4pm PT
Tuesday, July 28 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT
You don’t need a smart phone, or a data plan, for any of this, just a computer or a laptop.
And, since it’s done via computer, nobody will see your number.
You will need to learn how to use the phone banking and text banking software, as well as Slack, which is a way to chat with the Indivisible people running the session and ask questions. Kind of like the sidebar in our Zoom meetings.
The sessions all cover the same material, so pick the one that works best for you.
Note, there will be continuing rounds of letter writing, phone banking, and texting between now and election day. We’ll be contacting you to choose, and will have sign up sheets. So think about which you prefer.
